About WiscoMatch

Sources, authorship, and corrections

Local trust needs visible evidence.

What WiscoMatch publishes, how facts are labeled, and how to tell us when something changes.

Read the status before choosing a business

What each directory label establishes
LabelWhat it meansWhat it does not establish
Public-source · UnclaimedPublished facts from the linked official website, with a checked date.Owner participation, completed verification, quote delivery, insurance, availability, or a rating.
Confirmed founding providerA confirmed business identity, stated service coverage, and authorized branding for the founding listing.A customer recommendation, full credential audit, guaranteed performance, or a delivery/response promise.
SponsoredA disclosed commercial placement.A purchased customer rating or an improved organic trust score.
Sample profileA demonstration of the interface.A real business. Samples are excluded from normal discovery and the public sitemap.

Use first-party facts with a date

Researched profiles link to the business’s official pages for services, contacts, and stated coverage. A source-check date records when those facts were researched; it is not a certification of current availability. A service area is not an office address. Missing or placeholder contact details are omitted rather than filled in.

Credential and insurance questions should be checked against the specific work and current documentation. We do not award a license, invent a review, copy a rating from another platform, or infer logo-publishing permission from a website.

Show who prepared the guidance

WiscoMatch is the publisher of its guides. New guides prepared with AI assistance disclose that assistance and link official resources beside attributed facts. We do not create fictional expert bylines or claim field testing that did not occur. Older guides may have less source detail; use the linked official references for requirements and ask the provider about your specific project.

Guides combine original preparation checklists with Wisconsin context. A municipal rule is labeled for that municipality, and interstate moving guidance is kept separate from a move entirely within Wisconsin. Dates change when the content changes, not simply to imply freshness.

Keep commercial relationships visible

608 Movers is WiscoMatch’s founding sponsored provider. That commercial relationship is not an independent customer endorsement. Busy B’s Moving and Rockford Janesville Movers were requested for inclusion by the project owner and remain unclaimed public-source listings. Inclusion does not award enrollment or a customer score.

Reviewed customer evidence and sufficient response data are required before the published ranking model can produce a meaningful score. Open positions remain open. Advertising does not fill gaps with invented evidence.

Separate a saved request from a delivered lead

Quote requests, business applications, reviews, events, and corrections are stored privately for review. Saving a quote request does not confirm delivery, a reply time, a booking, or a price. Unclaimed businesses use their official contact channels. Reviews are not automatically published, and business claims do not automatically change listing status.

Report a factual correction

Readers can report outdated facts without claiming a business. Include evidence where possible. Leave out customer details, entry codes, private documents, and payment information.

Business owners have a separate claim path

Apply with your business details and publishing permissions. A correction does not grant account access or claim a profile.
